About the Tool Container Tool

The Tool Container allows the user to organize tools in a workflow. Tools can be placed inside the container to isolate a process. The container can be displayed in an expanded or collapsed manner and can also be disabled.

Configuration Properties

  1. Caption: Type the desired text to appear in the top bar of the Tool Container. The default will be Container and the Tool ID. The tool container will expand its width extent to display the entire caption.

  2. Set the appearance settings for the tool container. Settings include: Text Color, Fill Color, Border Color, Transparency, and Margin.

  3. Disabled: When checked the contents of the Tool Container will not execute at workflow runtime. When a Tool Container is disabled, it will appear in its collapsed state and will not have the down arrow for expansion. To enable a Tool Container, click on the tool container to display its Configuration Properties and un-check the Disable box.
