Alteryx is supported on desktop computers, stand-alone servers, and virtual machine environments with the following minimum requirements.
Required Minimums for Server 2020.1

|Chip||Quad core (single chip)|
|Processor||2.5 GHz or faster|
|Disk Size||1 TB|
|Administrator Rights||Administrator rights are required to install Server.|
|Active Directory Read Access||

Ensure the computer can contact the whitelist.alteryx.com web domain used by the Alteryx licensing system.
|File Share Access||
Read and write permissions to the file share.
|Predictive Tools Install||In order to use the Predictive Tools, you have to include them in the install of Server.|
|Base Address||The base address is the URL that users will use to access the Gallery. The URL defaults to http://localhost/gallery/ which can be used to run the Gallery locally on the machine.|
|SMTP Server||Notifications and account validations are managed via email. SMTP host information is required for Gallery email notifications.|
|Default Gallery Administrator||
This depends on the type of authentication selected when the server settings were configured. The Gallery administrator is given permission to access the Gallery and manage users and workflows.
If you are configuring the machine to run a Gallery instance, you have to use MongoDB. MongoDB version 4.0 is embedded with Server 2019.3+. If you are upgrading from a version prior to 2018.1, you will need to upgrade to a version between 2018.1-2019.2 before upgrading to 2019.3. MongoDB versions 3.0, 3.4 and 4.0 are supported for user-managed instances.
If you were previously using SQLite for Alteryx Scheduler, you have to manually re-schedule jobs when switching to MongoDB.
These are the default ports used by Server. Server ports can be configured if necessary.
