Deploy a License

After purchasing Alteryx Connect, Alteryx will email you a .key license file. To deploy the license:

  1. Copy the license file to the <installation_path>\ac_work\folder. The default installation path is C:\Program Files\AlteryxConnect.
  2. Restart Alteryx Connect.

Check the Status of a License

  1. As an administrator, log in to Alteryx Connect.
  2. Select your icon in the top-right of the screen and select Administration. License information is displayed in the License section.

Licensing FAQs

What happens if I install Alteryx Connect without a license?

Alteryx Connect will function for a period of 30 days without a license.

What happens if the license expires?

Upon expiration, only administrators can log in to Alteryx Connect.

Connect is licensed by the number of server cores. If you have a question about Connect licensing, send an email to fulfillment@alteryx.com.
