To configure the Pivotal Greenplum Bulk connection for writing data in the Output Data Tool, follow these steps:

  1. In Designer place an Output Data Tool on the canvas and select the drop-down for the field Write to a File or Database.

  2. In the Single Access Point menu go to Data sources and select Pivotal Greenplum | Bulk.

  3. Select your DSN connection from the drop-down, and enter a value for User Name, Password, Database Name, Host, Port, and SSL Mode.

To configure the Pivotal Greenplum Bulk connection for writing data for InDB, follow these steps:

  1. In Designer, go to Options - Advanced Options - Manage In-DB Connections.

  2. Select Greenplum as the Data Source.

  3. For the Read tab

    1. Select Greenplum ODBC as the Driver;

    2. Select new database connection;

    3. Select your DSN from the drop-down and enter a value for username and password.

  4. For the Write tab

    1. Select Greenplum Bulk Loader;

    2. Select new database connection;

    3. Select your DSN connection from the drop-down, and enter a value for User Name, Password, Database Name, Host, Port, and SSL Mode.
