Random % Sample Tool

Use Random % Sample to return an expected number of records that result in a random sample of the incoming data stream.

1. Specify the number of records to return.
   • Random N Records: Select a value for Number of Records to specify the number of records to output.
   • Random N% of Records: Select a value for Percent of Records to specify the percentage of incoming records to output.
2. Deterministic Output: Select a value for Random Seed to ensure the same set of random results is returned each time you run the workflow (as long as the random seed is the same at runtime).
