Data Connections Supported by Auto Insights

What sort of files does Auto Insights accept? This article discusses database compatibility and CSV and ZIP uploads.

Databases

The databases that we can connect to are listed in this section. If your database is not listed below, please contact us at https://community.alteryx.com/support. 

MySQL

  • MySQL 5.5 or later

  • MariaDB 5.5 or later

Postgres

  • PostgreSQL server versions from 7.4 to 12 (e.g. Amazon Redshift)

MS SQL

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008

  • SQL Server 2008 R2

  • SQL Server 2012

  • SQL Server 2014

  • SQL Server 2016

  • SQL Server 2017

  • Analytics Platform System

  • Azure SQL Database 

  • Azure SQL Data Warehouse

Oracle SQL

  • Oracle Database 11.2 or later

Snowflake

For secure database connections, it is necessary to comply with TLS v1.2 at least.

CSV and ZIP Files

Auto Insights also accepts CSV and ZIP files.
