Where Is Auto Insights and My Data Hosted?

This article discusses where Auto Insights and data uploaded to Auto Insights is hosted, and the platform or private cloud used.

Our Auto Insights SaaS solution using Microsoft Azure's cloud platform allows data to be hosted in one of 4 locations:

United States (for customers located in the United States)
Australia (for customers located in Australia)
Singapore (for customers located in Singapore)
United Kingdom (for customers located in the United Kingdom)

Our Alteryx Analytics Cloud platform, including Auto Insights, is using Google’s Cloud Platform, currently offering hosting in the following location:

United States

Computations

Auto Insights does not create new data or edit or delete existing data in your databases or CSV files. In addition, Auto Insights does not compute directly in your databases or data sources. Computation is carried out within the software itself.

Is data duplicated on our cloud?

When uploading a CSV file to Auto Insights or connecting to a database, an extract of the data is stored on our cloud.
