EMR Running Environment
Elastic Map Reduce is a service of Amazon Web Service (AWS) for processing large volumes of data using open source technologies such as Spark. EMR integrates easily with other AWS-based services such as S3, IAM, Glue, and more.
EMR is enabled by default in your workspace. When you run a job using the Spark option, the job is provisioned for execution on an EMR cluster.
Tip
In the Run Job page, select Spark to run the job on this running environment when the Trifacta Application has been integrated with it.
