Use Salesforce Output to write data from Designer to Salesforce. See Salesforce to learn about known limitations.

This tool is not automatically installed with Designer. To use this tool, download it from the Alteryx Marketplace.

Sign In to Salesforce

After you select the environment, you can authenticate via internet browser with an option to use custom Consumer Key & Secret, or using Salesforce Credentials.

To schedule your workflow, we recommend selecting the Salesforce Credentials authentication method and entering the credentials.

Designer encrypts the password and security token.

Configure the Tool

After you select your destination table, select one of these options:

  • Delete: Deletes existing records that match the incoming data.

  • Insert: Appends data to the existing records.

  • Update: Updates the existing records.
