Search is a powerful feature in Alteryx Analytics Hub. To search workflows, analytic apps, the data catalog and more, use the global search bar at the top of any page on a site. You can search by file name, alternative name, description, or file extension. Search is permissions aware meaning you only see results for files you have access to.
Quick search shows results as you type. Enter at least three characters and get up to the top ten results or select a category to filter first. Quick filter options are Workflows, 3rd-Party Reporting, Data Catalog, and Modified Today. Select Advanced Search to see more filter options.
On the Advanced Search page, use faceted search to narrow results. Filters only display when they are applicable to the results of your search. Select additional filters from the More drop-down menu.
Use the Sort and View icons to easily change your view.
Save a Filter View
Save and share common searches to more easily find content on your site. To save a filter view, select filter options on the Advanced Search page > Save.
Access your saved filters from the dropdown next to the global search bar. To Share, Rename, or Remove filters, select the vertical ellipsis icon.
Assign tags to workflows, outputs, and other files for easier organization and sharing.
To create or assign a tag, follow these steps:
- Expand the side panel on a details page.
- Select Add or Select Tag.
- Enter a new tag name and or select a tag in the list. Capitalization isn't preserved in tag names at this time.
- Select Manage Tags to delete tags, add new tags, or to see how many files are tagged with a specific tag.
