Use Numeric Up Down to display a numeric control in an app or macro. The value specified by the end-user is passed to downstream tools.

Configure the Tool

  • Enter the text or question to be displayed: This text is presented to the user and instructs them on how to use the Numeric Up Down control.
  • Minimum: Specify the smallest value the end-user can set.
  • Maximum: Specify the largest value the end-user can set.
  • Increment: Specify how the value increments when the end-user pushes the up or down control.
  • Default: Specify the value that displays if the user makes no change to the setting.
  • Decimal Places: Specify the number of decimal places to display in the control.
