Create and Manage Schedules
Learn how to create and manage schedules in Platform.
Only users with the Designer Cloud Creator role have permission to access and create their own scheduled jobs. For more information on user roles, see the Administer page.
Create Schedule
To schedule a Designer Cloud workflow or job in Platform…

On the Schedules page, select New.

In the New Schedule modal, enter a Name for your schedule.

Select a Workflow. This will be the workflow that runs for this schedule. You can only select a workflow saved to your Assets. See the My Files page for more information on saving Assets.

Select the how often your schedule should run:

Once: Creates a schedule that will only run 1 time at the specified date and time.

Recurring: Creates a recurring schedule. Select the Frequency that determines how often your schedule runs:

Daily: The workflow will run every day at the date and time you select. Check Run Only During Work Week (Mon-Fri) to have the workflow run only Monday through Friday.

Weekly: Check the days of the week that you would like your workflow to run.

Monthly: Select a Day of the Month or set a relative monthly pattern for your schedule to run.

Select the Start and End date and time for your schedule. The time zone is selected for you based on your location.

Select Schedule to create your schedule.
Edit Schedule
To edit an existing schedule…

On the Schedules page, select All.

On the schedule you want to update, select the 3-dot menu, then Edit.

Edit the schedule’s details, then select Schedule.
Disable and Enable Schedule
To disable a schedule…

On the Schedules page, select All.

On the schedule you want to disable, select the 3-dot menu, then select Disable.
Only schedules that are currently enabled can be disabled.

Select Disable.
If a schedule is actively running when you select Disable, it will be canceled.
To enable a schedule…

On the Schedules page, select All.

On the schedule you want to disable, select the 3-dot menu, then select Enable.
Only schedules that are currently disabled can be enabled.
- Select Enable.
Delete Schedule
To delete a schedule…

On the Schedules page, select All.

On the schedule you want to delete, select the 3-dot menu, then select Delete.

Read through the warning, then select Delete.
If a schedule is actively running when you select Delete, it will be canceled.
Cancel In Progress Run
To cancel a scheduled workflow run that is currently in progress…

On the Schedules page, select Runs.
-
On an in progress run, select Cancel.
-
Read the warning carefully, then select Cancel.
