Get Started with Platform

Platform is the home for all of Alteryx's cloud-based apps, including Designer Cloud, Machine Learning, and Auto Insights. Scale your analytic workflows across your organization with an easy-to-use browser experience.

Global Menu

Select the global menu to access the Alteryx Platform Home page, all of your Alteryx cloud apps, and quick links.

Home

Select the home icon or the Home tab when in Alteryx Platform. From here, you can easily get started with Designer Cloud, Take a Tour of Alteryx's cloud products, Join Our Community, or Find Answers in the Help docs. You can also access your recent files or create a New Workflow in Designer Cloud.

Apps

You can access any of your apps using the global menu from anywhere in Alteryx Platform. Your favorites, like Designer Cloud, Machine Learning, and Auto Insights, are always easy to find.

Quick Links

The quick-links section allows you to quickly go where you need to be. Manage your assets, like workflows. (Your assets are also available from the Assets tab in Alteryx Platform.) You can also ask for help from other members of the Community, or find answers in the Help docs.

Select the megaphone icon to give us feedback. We listen to what you have to say. That's how we decide what needs to improve in our products, so rate our products, describe your experiences, and then Send us your feedback.

Navigating the Platform

Use the tabs to navigate to different parts of Platform.

The Assets tab is where all the folders, workflows, and files that you have saved to Platform are stored.

Customize the User Interface

The Platform user interface is customizable.

  • Dark Mode: Use the moon icon to switch to Dark Mode.
  • Light Mode: Use the sun icon to switch to Light Mode.
