Supported data sources are now accessible via a single point of access from the Data sources tab in the Data connections window.
- R has been upgraded to version 3.5.
- Input Data Tool: You can now connect to a data source and output to a data source through a data connections window.
- Output Data Tool: You can now connect to a data source and output to a data source through a data connections window.
- The Results window is now interactive. You can now filter, search, and sort in the results window.
- The Python tool now has enhanced performance and data type handling due to the replacement of SQLite with YXDB as the default back-end storage format. As a result, there is also no longer a limitation of reading 2000 columns into the tool.
- The default storage type for the Python tool has been changed from SQLite to Alteryx YXDB format. Support for SQLite will be deprecated in an upcoming release.
- The following tools have been redesigned for improved usability: Crosstab, Transpose, Regex, Unique, and Tile. The functionality has not changed.
Data connectors are now accessible via a single point of access from the Data sources tab in the Data connections window.
