How to Get Help with Alteryx One
Use the help options in Alteryx One to find documentation, contact support, check platform status, and review session information. You can also use the chat option in the global app bar to ask questions and get help with Alteryx One (and start a support case if needed).
Open the Help Menu
In the global app bar, select the question mark icon to open the help menu.
The help menu includes these options:
Community: Opens the Alteryx Community, where you can search discussions, ask questions, and learn from other users.
Help Documentation: Opens Alteryx documentation, where you can find guidance and task-based help.
Support Center: Opens MyAlteryx with access to various support resources.
Alteryx APIs: Opens Alteryx API documentation.
Alteryx Status: Opens the Alteryx status page to review the current platform status.
Session Details: Opens details about your current Alteryx One session.
Access Chat Directly in Alteryx One
You can also use the chat feature directly in Alteryx One through your browser or the Alteryx One app. Get answers to your questions, solve problems, and get the most out of Alteryx One.
To access the chat, follow these steps:
In the Alteryx One global app bar, select the chat bubble icon. This is available in the browser and in the Alteryx One app.
On the Home tab, select Ask a question to get started. This option is also available on the Messages tab.
Use the chat to ask questions and discuss issues. You can also indicate that you want to contact Support. For example, enter "Get help from support".
When you're finished, you can rate your conversation to provide valuable feedback and help us improve the experience.
Tips for a Complete Support Case
If you need to submit a support case, include details that help Alteryx Customer Support understand and resolve your issue:
The module or tool you were using.
The version, if available.
What you were trying to do.
The issue or error you encountered.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Your preferred time and time zone if you need a call.
