The Asset Details page also displays the folder associated with the asset and tags (if applicable). You can select the folder name to navigate to its location in the Library, based on your access permissions.
Supported Asset Types
The Library supports the following asset types:
Designer Cloud Workflows
Live Query Workflows
Designer Cloud Macro
Plans
Auto Insights Custom Reports
Auto Insights Preset Reports
Auto Insights Datasets
Folders
Assets in the Library can be organized into folders. When a folder is associated with an asset:
Selecting the folder name navigates to that folder (if you have access).
The folder is also shown on the Asset Details page, where you can navigate to it.
Depending on your assigned permissions, you can perform actions such as viewing, creating, editing, or sharing assets within a folder.
Designer Cloud - Designer 体验

Cloud workflows are categorized by workflow mode:
Standard workflows (Designer-compatible workflows)
Cloud Native workflows (Live/Cloud Prep workflows)
Each workflow is labeled with its workflow mode to ensure it appears in the appropriate experience.
You can filter workflows by:
Workflow mode (Standard or Cloud Native)
Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) (for example, Snowflake or BigQuery, where applicable)
To open a cloud workflow, select Open in Designer from the 3-dot menu. You can also use the 3-dot menu to Run, Schedule, and Share workflows (among other options).

You can also share workflows with service principals. Service principals appear alongside users and user groups in the sharing dialog and can be granted the same permissions.

Designer Cloud—Trifacta Classic

Designer Desktop

Open Desktop Assets
In Alteryx One App (AOA), selecting an asset opens it directly in Designer.
In the browser, selecting an asset opens the Asset Details page, where you can view metadata and perform actions.

Workflow Mode - display workflows based on their mode:
Standard
Cloud Native
CDW - display workflows associated with a specific cloud data warehouse (for example, Snowflake or BigQuery), where applicable.
File Type - display all assets based on file type, such as Workflow (.yxmd), Macro (.yxmc), or Analytic App (.yxwz).
Library search includes assets across the entire folder structure, not just the root level. This allows you to discover assets stored within nested folders.
File Type Column
Library tables include a File Type column that identifies the type of each asset, such as Workflow, Macro, or Analytic App.
This column helps you quickly distinguish between asset types and can be used alongside filters to locate specific assets.
Machine Learning

Displays relevant metadata based on the asset type (for example, workflow, dataset, or plan).
Respects access permissions, ensuring only authorized information is visible.

The Platform Library uses the Shared Asset Management System (SAMS) to retrieve plan data. This system provides a consistent view of assets and improves reliability and performance.

Use metadata filters (for example, name, owner, and tags) to find specific plans.
Select a plan to view details, including associated schedules, jobs, and dependencies.
From the Platform Library, you can:
Run a plan.
Share a plan.
Schedule a plan.
Open the plan in the Plans editor.
Run a plan directly from the Platform Library to execute workflows without navigating to the Plans page.
