Ask Alteryx dans Designer

Ask Alteryx s'affiche sous la forme d'une fenêtre dans Designer, semblable à la fenêtre de configuration de l'outil. Vous pouvez ancrer ou masquer la fenêtre dans le menu à trois points. Pour revenir à la fenêtre Ask Alteryx, accédez à Affichage, puis cliquez surAsk Alteryx.

Ask Alteryx saves your chat history. Chats you start in Designer are also available in Ask Alteryx dans Alteryx One, so you can continue them there.

Chat history isn't available in the Designer Modern UI preview.

Build a Workflow with Ask Alteryx

Enter a prompt in the Ask Alteryx chat window, and then select the send icon. Ask Alteryx can act on your prompt in several ways. For example, it can:

  • Answer general questions about Designer and link to help documentation.

  • Summarize what your workflow does. Ask Alteryx can also document your workflow with the Comment tool.

  • Add tools to your workflow and configure them.

  • Edit or delete tools on the canvas.

  • Troubleshoot workflow errors.

  • Suggest next steps for building your workflow.

  • Run your workflow.

General Prompt Guidelines

To get the most accurate responses, follow these guidelines when you write a prompt:

  • Summarize what you want to accomplish.

  • Give context for your question. Include as much information as you can.

  • Include the column names and tool IDs that relate to your prompt. To find a tool ID, hover over the tool to see the tool name and ID.

For example, instead of a general prompt like "Clean my data," write a specific prompt like "I want to evaluate the HR data in this workflow. Remove the rows with null values in the Attrition field."

Get Help with Tools

Ask Alteryx can also help you learn about Designer tools. Ask questions like these:

  • "What does a tool container do?"

  • "What is the difference between the Cross Tab and Transpose tools?"

  • "What does the Multi-Field Formula tool do?"

Ask Alteryx Interface

These options are available in Ask Alteryx:

  • Chat: When you open Ask Alteryx in Designer, Chat (speech bubble icon) is the default view. Enter your prompts and review responses here.

  • Settings: Use Settings (gear icon) to configure and manage Ask Alteryx:

    • Data Awareness: Turn on or off the ability for Ask Alteryx to sample your data for better insights. For more information, go to Conscience des données.

    • Current Workspace: View the connected Alteryx One workspace. Your chats are saved to this workspace. To switch workspaces, select Reload Ask Alteryx, and then select a different workspace.

    • Reload Ask Alteryx: Restart Ask Alteryx.
