Microsoft Access 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2021

Alteryx supports Microsoft 2013, 2016, and 365 Runtimes for reading from and writing to ACCDB files. A Microsoft Access Runtime must be installed to read from or write to ACCDB files.

If Microsoft Access .accdb is missing in Single Access Point and the File Format dropdown in the Input or Output tools, no Microsoft Access Runtime, or an incompatible runtime, is installed.

To install a Microsoft Access Runtime, download the runtime installation file from the Microsoft Download Center and follow Microsoft’s instructions for installing.

The Microsoft 2016 and 365 Runtimes are supported for Version 2022.3.1.486 (Patch 3) and newer.

Use the Microsoft Access Runtime 2013 for Designer versions prior to 2022.3.1.486 (Patch 3). Note that this runtime version will continue to work for newer versions of Designer.
