Activate License Online with Alteryx One Platform
You can activate Alteryx Designer and Server version 2025.1 and later online with Alteryx One Platform. If you're using an earlier version, we recommend you to download the latest Designer 2025.1.2.142 to ensure a smooth activation process.
Tip
This license activation option requires the end user to complete the activation process.
Activate Products
To activate your Alteryx products...
Sign in to your Alteryx One workspace.
Select Activate on the Designer or Server tile.
Select Activate Online or Activate Offline. For more information on offline activation, go to Activate License Offline with Alteryx One Platform.
Open Alteryx Designer. If the Alteryx Designer Activation window does not open automatically, select Options > Manage Licenses. When the Manage Licenses window opens, select Activate with Cloud.
Select Sign In to Activate Your License.
Select Designer or Server to activate the required product.
Note
This selection appears only if you have installed Server.
Select Continue.
Select your Alteryx One instance from the list.
Select Launch Browser to complete the activation.
Your web browser opens.
Enter your Alteryx One email.
Select your workspace.
Enter your password and sign in.
The web browser displays the Access Granted message.
If you activated Designer and you have Server installed, you can continue by activating Server as well. Designer will automatically prompt you to activate Server the same way.
