US Location Insights and US Business Insights

Connecticut Planning Regions/Counties Update:

With the Q3 2024 US Business Insights release, several datasets, including Experian US, Experian Full US, Address Points, US Geocoder, Zip4Coder, and ConsumerView, have been updated to reflect Connecticut’s new planning regions, replacing the previous county-based structure. While the child geographies remain unchanged, the CensusID (GeoID) has been updated to align with the new parent planning regions.

A migration file is included in the installer's documentation folder to assist you with the transition between the 2020 and the latest Census IDs at the Census Tract, Block Group, and Block geography levels. Note that due to differences in geographic areas, there is no direct crosswalk between the old counties and the new planning regions. You can refer to the 2020 Census DHC Allocate dataset for the old Connecticut county geographies.

The 2020 US Census (DHC) dataset retains the original 2020 IDs and boundaries and has not been updated.

Geography Updates

Nielsen DMAs have been updated to their 2024 vintage.
