Dataprep by Trifacta provides various means of integrating Alteryx functionality with your dbt infrastructure and datasets.
Dataprep by Trifacta dbt Core Utility
TheAlteryx dbt Core Utility enables you to perform profiling on your dbt datasets that you have generated in BigQuery. Install the utility and point it at your dbt Core directory of output datasets, and data profiles are generated for all discovered datasets
Benefits:
Use text-based yaml and model files to generate data profile visualizations and summary statistics.
Verify value distributions and statistics at various checkpoints in your dbt Core pipelines.
Invite users to view the profile results in Dataprep by Trifacta to access the data interactively for their own self-service data pipelines.
The utility connects to your local dbtCore repository models and the datastore, and creates all necessary connections and dataset metadata in Dataprep by Trifacta. Through SQL pushdown, Dataprep by Trifacta generates data profiles for your datasets that were populated by dbt Core.
