Get Started with Live Query
Live Query empowers analysts and data scientists with a self-service solution for data prep, blending, and analytics in the cloud.
Important
Live Query for Google BigQuery requires a workspace that uses Google Cloud Storage as the base storage. In Google Cloud Storage based workspaces, Snowflake and Databricks Live Query are not supported. In workspaces that use a base storage other than Google Cloud Storage, Snowflake and Databricks Live Query are supported.
Application Setup
Complete these steps to get started using the application.
Assign Roles
Each user of your workspace who needs access to the application must be assigned a Live Query Creator or Live Query Consumer role by a Workspace Admin.
Note
Each application has a specific set of roles. When a workspace user is assigned an application role, the licensed seat count for the application is incremented, where applicable.
For more information on application roles, go to Privileges and Roles Reference.
For more information on role permissions, go to Permissions Matrix.
For more information on assigning roles, go to Roles Page.
