What's New

  • Connection Management in Alteryx One: Connections can now be created, edited, and deleted directly in Alteryx One. For more information, see Create and Manage Connections.

  • Role-Based Sharing: The connection owners control access by assigning users or groups a specific role, rather than configuring individual permissions one by one. For more information, see Roles and Permissions.

  • Desktop Connections and External Vaults Tabs: The Data page in Alteryx One now separates Desktop Connections and External Vaults into dedicated tabs. The New Connection button is context-aware and automatically adapts to the selected tab. For more information, see Manage and Run DCM.

Limitations

  • No generic vault support is available. Only natively supported vaults - AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk Conjur, and HashiCorp Vault are supported.

  • DCM in Alteryx One requires Designer 26.1 or later. Designer versions older than 26.1 are not supported.

  • Legacy Workspace Execution connections are not migrated automatically. Connections synced to Workspace Execution before the DCM release must be re-synced manually.

  • On Designer Desktop, unsharing a connection takes effect only after the next sync. The access is not revoked immediately.
