Use Macro Output to control how output anchors display for a macro tool.

A macro tool includes an output anchor for each Macro Output tool used in the macro workflow. Output anchors are displayed in the order they were added to the macro workflow. Use the Interface Designer > Tree View to edit the order. Go to Interface Designer Window for more information.

Note

You can save the Browse tool as a Macro Output tool.

Configure the Tool

  1. Output Name: Enter a name for the macro output.

  2. Anchor Abbreviation: Enter a letter or number to display on the tool anchor.
