Get Started with DCM
Data Connection Manager is available in both Designer and Alteryx One, but the interfaces and functionality differ slightly between the two.
DCM in Designer is built for local, hands-on connection management, with a full set of tools (Data Sources, Credentials, Alteryx Links, External Vaults, Sync, Proxy Servers, Backup/ Restore) accessible in one place.
DCM in Alteryx One is built for centralized management with a simplified interface focused on creating, sharing, and governing connections across users and workspaces in the cloud.
Note
DCM with Alteryx One requires Designer 26.1 or later. If you are using an earlier version, upgrade to Designer 26.1 or later before getting started. During the upgrade, your existing connections are automatically migrated to DCM.
