Job Details
Use the Job Details view to review a job’s status, run time, outputs, and execution details.
Open Job Details
In Alteryx One, select Jobs.
Locate the job that you want to review.
Select the job ID.
The Job Details view displays this summary information:
Status: The current result of the job, such as Success.
Run Length: The time required to complete the job.
Job Run Time: The date and time when the job ran.
Type: How the job started (Manual, Ran by API, Ran by Plan, and Scheduled).
Ran By: The user who started the job.
Asset: The Designer Cloud or Designer Desktop workflow associated with the job.
If applicable, you can select the asset name to open it.
Hover over the asset to view additional asset details, including the asset type, its owner, which users the asset is shared with, when it was created and last updated, and the last job where the asset was included. Select More Asset Details to view the asset in the Library (if you have access).
Job ID: The unique identifier for the job. You can use this ID when you investigate job-related issues.
For Designer Cloud jobs, use the New Job Detail Experience toggle to switch between the redesigned and previous views.
Review Job Outputs
The Outputs tab lists the files generated by the job. Each output includes its status, job run time, filename, and file type.
Available actions can include:
Preview the output.
Open the output in its destination.
Download the output.
The available actions depend on the job type, output format, and workspace settings. Workspace Administrators can disable output downloads for Designer Cloud and Designer Desktop jobs.
For a Designer Desktop job, the downloaded ZIP file contains the Engine log and all output files associated with the job.
Review an Orchestrator Plan Run
If the job type is Ran by Plan, open the associated Orchestrator run to review the broader plan execution. The Run Preview displays the plan name, run ID, overall status, run length, and each task in the plan.
Select a task on the canvas to review:
Overview: The task start time, finish time, run length, and status.
Parameters: The parameter information available for the task.
Task statuses can include successful, failed, skipped, canceled, in progress, and pending. Select Exit Run Preview to return to the previous view.
