Asset Details
The Asset Details page provides a centralized view for a specific asset in Alteryx One. Use this page to review asset metadata, monitor execution history, manage schedules, view dependencies, and perform actions such as sharing, running, or opening the asset.
The information and actions available depend on the asset type and your permissions.
Access the Asset Details Page
To open the Asset Details page:
Go to the Library from the left navigation pane.
Locate the asset you want to explore, then select its context (3-dot) menu and select View Asset Details.
The Asset Details page opens and displays information about the selected asset.
Asset Page Overview
The Asset Details page includes the following areas:
Asset Header
The page header displays the asset name and provides quick access to common actions. Available actions can include:
Share: Share the asset with other users. For more information, go to Share Assets.
Schedule: Create and manage schedules for running the asset. For more information, go to Schedules.
Run: Execute the asset immediately.
Open: Open the asset for editing or viewing.
More Options: Use the 3-dot menu to access additional asset actions, depending on your permissions and asset type. These include Download, Duplicate, Transfer Ownership, Version History, Data Labels, and Delete. Go to Manage Assets for additional information about these actions.
Activity Tabs
The center panel contains tabs that provide information about the asset.
Jobs
The Jobs tab displays execution history for the asset. For each job, you can view the Status, Job ID, Type, the user who ran the job, and the completion time.
Use the available filters to narrow results:
All Jobs: View all executions of the asset.
Ran By Me: View only jobs you executed.
Filter: Apply additional filtering criteria.
If the asset has not been run, the page displays a message indicating that no jobs are available. For more information about Jobs, go to Job History.
Schedules
The Schedules tab displays schedules associated with the asset. From this tab, you can:
Review existing schedules
View schedule details.
Manage scheduled runs (depending on permissions).
If the asset has not been scheduled, the page displays a message indicating that no schedules are available. For more information about schedules, go to Schedules.
Dependencies
The Dependencies tab displays assets and resources used by the selected asset. Examples include:
Input data sources.
Output destinations.
Connected assets.
Related workflows or packages.
Use dependency information to better understand how the asset interacts with other resources in your workspace.
Asset Information Panel
The right-side panel displays metadata and ownership information for the asset.
Description: Provides a summary of the asset's purpose. Hover over the description field and select it to enter a description to help other users understand the asset.
Type: Displays the asset type. For example, Designer Cloud Workflow.
Owner: Identifies the current owner of the asset.
Shared With: Displays sharing status and indicates whether the asset has been shared with other users or groups.
Last Updated: Shows the date and time of the most recent modification.
Created By: Displays the user who originally created the asset.
Created On: Shows the date and time the asset was created.
Version: Displays the asset's current version number.
Tags: Tags help categorize and organize assets. For more information, go to Tags.
