Use the Users tab to manage users, groups, and roles for the Apps.
Note
The first user who signs into the Alteryx Marketplace is the Company admin. The Company admin can add users, create groups, and assign users to roles.
Note
The options in the Users tab vary for Company Admin and other users.
A Company Admin can...
Invite users.
Create groups.
Assign users to roles.
Assign roles to users.
Invite Users
Go to Users tab and select the Invite Users icon. A dialog box opens.
In the dialog box, go to Add emails tab. Add email IDs of the user and provide the required roles.
Select Send Invitations.
Tip
You can manage invitations, assign invited users, and invite more users.
Go to the Upload Email List tab and upload the user's email list.
Groups
Go to the Groups tab and select the Create Group icon. A dialog box opens.
Enter the group name and description.
Select Create Group. The Manage Users page opens.
Select the required users from the Available Users pane to the newly created group.
Select Submit. The users are added to the group.
Tip
You can select the gear icon in the group page and modify the settings, manage groups, and delete groups.
Roles
Use the Roles page to assign users to roles and roles to users.
