Library
The Alteryx One asset library serves as a centralized repository for folders, workflows, macros, analytic apps, plans, reports, and packaged assets within the Alteryx One platform. The library is designed to help you organize, search, filter, and manage shared analytical content across teams and projects.
To open the asset library, select Library from the left navigation pane.
Library Page Overview
The Library displays assets in a structured table view with key metadata for each item, including:
Name: The asset name. Note that if an asset is categorized with a Tag or Data Label, badges appear next to the name.
Asset Type: The type of asset, for example, Designer Workflow Package, Live Query Workflow, or Orchestrator Plan.
Shared With: Displays sharing status and indicates whether the asset has been shared with other users or groups.
Owner: The user who created or owns the asset.
Last Updated: The most recent modification timestamp.
Each asset row includes a context menu (3-dot menu). You can use the context menu to download, edit, share, schedule, or delete assets, depending on permissions. For more information, go to Manage Assets.
At the bottom of the asset table, you can customize the number of rows in the table and page through to additional assets if needed.
The table interface also supports sorting. You can sort the Name and Last Updated columns.
Additionally, the Search box allows quick lookup of assets by name.
Filter Asset List
You can filter your list of assets using the All, Owned By Me, and Shared With Me tabs. You can also apply these advanced filters via the funnel icon:
Owner: Display all assets owned by the selected users.
Shared With: Display all the assets shared with the selected users.
Asset Type: Display all the assets for the selected asset types. Select one or more of Folder, Designer Cloud (Workflow, Live Query), Designer (Workflow, Macro, Analytic App, Package), Auto Insights (Preset Reports, Custom Reports, Dataset), or Orchestration Plan.
Tag: Display all assets with the selected tags assigned.
Data Label: Display all assets with the selected Data Labels.
Created By: Display all assets created by the selected users.
Add Assets
There are several options for adding assets to your Alteryx One library:
Select Upload at the top of the page to browse to a locally saved asset and add it to your library.
Select New at the top of the page to launch an Alteryx One module in a new browser tab.
