Magic Documents uses generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate dynamic content. Magic Documents connects to Open AI via the Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services within the Alteryx Cloud Infrastructure. Auto Insights executes an API call each time you select Generate, which results in content generation. Go to the Magic Documents article for more information on how to generate a new document.
Auto Insights sends only the findings that are presented in the Mission Summary, as well as the following configurations for each document that you select:
Format: Email, Presentation, or Message
Audience
Include or exclude recommendations.
Objective
Tone
Language
Length of the returned document.
Topic
The raw data is never sent, nor is any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data.

Alteryx has configured Auto Insights to connect to its Microsoft Azure tenant in the United States–East US and South Central US.
