New Analysis
You can analyze spatial data with New Analysis.
Select New Analysis.
In the New Analysis page, select Summarize by Area.
Note
Other analysis types will be available in the upcoming releases.
Summarize by Area
With Summarize by Area, you can append the aggregate data from 1 area to the boundary of another area.
To Summarize by Area...
Select Summarize by Area.
Select the required datasets from the Select Boundary Area and Select Data Layer dropdowns.
Note
Limitation: Only the Polygon dataset is accepted in the Select Boundary Area dropdown.
Tip
Select Learn More from the fields to see additional information.
To add statistics, select Add Statistics.
Select the required attribute and the calculation type from the Column and Calculation dropdowns.
Tip
You can add multiple statistics for your summary.
Select the preferred columns to include in the output options.
Tip
You can rename the columns.
To summarize the statistics, select Apply Statistics and Run.
Trade Area
With Trade Area, you can create regions around geometries.
To Trade Area...
Select the required data layers from the Select Data Layer dropdown.
Select Distance.
Select the required miles or kilometers from the Units dropdown.
Select the Edit icon in the Trade Area field.
Tip
You can also use the delete icon to delete the trade areas.
Enter the minimum and maximum distance.
Click Save to save the distances.
Tip
You can select +Add Trade Area to create more regions.
Select Create Analysis Layer. A new trade area is created.
Spatial Match
With Spatial match, you can create spatial relationships between 2 sets of spatial objects.
To Spatial match...
Select the required base layer from the dropdown.
Select the required join layer from the dropdown.
Select Apply Analysis and Run.
Find Nearest
With Find Nearest, you can identify the shortest distance between 2 layers.
To find the nearest...
Select the required compatible layer from the Start From dropdown.
Select the required compatible layer from the Find Nearest dropdown.
Enter or select the number of points to find in the Number of Points to find cell.
Select the maximum distance and miles from the Maximum Distance cell.
Tip
By default, the Ignore Zero-Distance Matches check box is checked. If required, you can uncheck the check box.
(Optional) Select the required output option from the Output Options dropdown.
Select Apply Analysis and Run.
Limitations
Location Intelligence supports only support points.
Drivetime calculations are not yet available.
