Certify Assets

A member of the Certifiers group can tag assets to indicate to Alteryx Connect users that these assets are approved by a trusted authority. This allows users to easily identify preferred assets when several have similar properties.

Alternatively, an asset known to contain outdated or inaccurate information can be tagged Do Not Use by a member of the Certifiers group. This helps users avoid these assets.

Certified assets gain prominence in search results. For more information, see Search for Data.

  2. Under Groups, select Certifiers.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Under List of Users, Select inside the Member field and add one or more users to the list.
