Within the Server user interface, users can view, add, update, and delete custom credentials. To begin, select the workflow credentials setting for your Server.
To learn more about credential options for Curators (Server admins) within the Server Admin interface, go to the Credentials article.
Prerequisites

In the Server Admin interface > Settings > Assets > Workflow Credential Settings, admin selects Allow User to Select.
When publishing a Designer workflow to Server, user selects Set Workflow Credentials and Always Run This Workflow with These Credentials.
When publishing a Designer workflow to Server, user selects User Must Specify Own Credentials.
In the Server Admin interface > Settings > Assets > Workflow Credential Settings, admin selects Require User Credentials.
To view credentials you have access to, go to Credentials.
There are 3 tabs in Credentials: All, My Credentials, and Shared With Me.
The All tab lists all credentials you have access to.
The My Credentials tab lists the following:
Custom credential you created on the My Profile page, in the Workflow Defaults section.
If custom credentials used in My Profile are already saved by an admin or another non-admin user, they won’t appear on your My Credentials page, but you will still be able to use them. These credentials are visible under the Default Credentials section.
Custom credentials created via Credentials, on the My Credentials tab.
Custom credentials created via Workflows or Schedules page.
The Shared With Me tab lists Server credentials shared with you by Server admins.
All tabs display these columns: Status (Active or Invalid), Username, and Last Updated.
You can sort the credentials by all these columns. Default sort is by the Last Updated column.
You can search for a credential using the Search bar.
Server validates the credential when saving to a schedule or executing a workflow or schedule against the local system or Active Directory account.
If the credential is valid, the status is Active.
If the credential is invalid, the status is Invalid. The reason behind can be an expired password, user locked out of their account, or the credential has been removed from the local or Active Directory account.
When a credential password is changed on the system or local account, then you can update the password via the Credentials page.
