Add a Credential via the Server User Interface

Create a credential to use when running workflows from the Credentials page, My Profile page, or Workflows and Schedules pages in the Server User Interface.

Note

The Server validates credentials against your local or Active Directory account. If valid, a confirmation message appears. If invalid, an error message appears.

The password must be 62 characters or fewer.

Add a Credential via My Profile

  1. Go to My Profile page in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the Workflow Defaults section, select Edit.

  3. Under Credential Type, select Custom(My Credentials).

  4. Enter a Username and Password.

  5. Then select a Default Worker Tag.

  6. Select Save.

Add a Credential via the Credentials Page

  1. Go to Credentials.

  2. Select + New.

  3. Enter a Username and Password.

  4. Select Create.

Add a Credential via the My Workspace or Schedules Page

You can add a credential from the My Workspace page:

  1. Go to Workflows and select a specific workflow.

  2. Select Run or Schedule. A pop-up window appears to select the credentials.*

  3. Select Continue. If the credential does not exist on the Credentials page, it will be added automatically.

You can add a credential from the Schedules page:

  1. Go to Schedules and select a specific schedule.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. In the Schedule As section, enter a Username and Password.*

  4. Select Save. If the credential does not exist on the Credentials page, it will be added automatically.

*Credential option only appears if the workflow is set to require user credentials. For more information, refer to Workflows Credentials Setting.
